Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In his first television appearances Evans was a part of characters like Opposite and sex during 2000. In 2005, after appearing on Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007) The actor was recognized for playing the Marvel Comics superhero, The Human Torch. Evans appeared in several film adaptations of graphic novels and comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel universe, the performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America made him the most highly paid actor in the world.
