MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It peaked at number eight at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. He then was a part of Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash track Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In interviews, he referred to music participation as mandatory. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was a young child. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from a Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
